I wake up to start my busy day between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. The first thing I see when I wake up is my wall. It's filled with things that inspire me and remind me who I am everyday. I have polaroids of people I'm close with, concert tickets, arcade tickets and my Dominican flag that hangs at the side. And of course my K-pop boys. They inspire and motivate me to do my best every day.

I usually make my breakfast before I join my Google meetings for summer school, but today my mom was nice enough to make me some Dominican-style oatmeal and bread with butter. I made some coffee after as well since I need some caffeine in me to work properly for the day!

Here I am in the Zoom meeting for work for today with my breakfast to the side. It’s been really interesting these past months with how everything is online now. School, work, even dance classes are online. Everyones been struggling to keep up with online work. With my Wifi messing up on me a lot, it can be stressful sometimes.

A few hours later, I'm downstairs in the kitchen looking for lunch. Today my mom made chicken parm pasta. My favorite food is pasta, so best believe I stuffed my face. I feel like we're all gaining weight this quarantine. All we really do is eat and lay in our beds all day! Well, for me at least.

After I ate, I spent some time playing with my dog, Bakugou. He's the tiniest and fluffiest thing ever, but he can be very aggressive when we play with him. When my family is sitting down eating he's there right under the table barking for us to give him food or licking and biting our toes.

Today my family went out to the backyard to check on our tomato plant and to plant some new ones my sister got. My little brother Jacob, Bakugou, and I were running back and forth past our other neighbors' yards since Bakugou hadn’t been taken out in a bit. I got tired after a while, so I left Bakugou to my mom and went back upstairs to my comfortable, cold, air-conditioned room.

Sunsets in the summer are usually very pretty from my room's window. Today, though, it was pretty muggy and cloudy so I didn't get the view I was hoping for. For the rest of the evening and well into the night I'm going to be doing homework for summer school and my online classes. I’m usually up until 4 a.m. on weekdays. That's what my usual day of quarantining and online work looks like. I hope you found it somewhat relatable.
